The stars exhale their dying plea,
As time folds in —come fall in me.
I’m the end of the line where the patterns blur,
Where order trembles and dreams deter,
From a spark in the void to a dying stir,
Every song you love, I make unsure.
Heat creeps slow, it don’t rewind,
Every system breaks in its own design,
You can run from fate, but you run in me,
I’m the ghost in time —I’m Entropy.
States just dance in a billion ways,
chance is baked in the final maze,
No king holds crown when I raise my blaze,
No truth stays pure in the cosmic haze.
sun to soul, I equalize,
Turn love to smoke, and hope to sighs,
Every beating heart just burns some key,
To pay the tax of Entropy.
The stars forget what they used to be,
Light bends down in silent plea,
Every dream dissolves into the sea,
Whisper slow… fall into me.
I,m the static in your sound,
fallen bodies on the ground,
Every perfect line you think you found,
I twist it slow till it’s unbound.
I’m reason’s edge and chaos’s seed,
I’m hunger coded in every need,
I’m the rule that rules all symmetry,
The fall, the rise — Entropy.
Maybe life is just my sweet defiance,
A rhythm forged in my alliance,
We build from loss, we call it science,
We dream through death — pure self-reliance.
Each song we sing, each thought we free,
a sense of order out of me,
Till silence wins and lights all flee —
I’ll fade, and all will fade — with me.
Your pulse grows faint where the dark runs deep,
The heat you hold is mine to keep,
All things fade — eventually,
Come closer now… fall into me.
